Sales and Design Consultant

Full Time • Brooklyn/Manhattan
We are seeking a motivated, personable, and detail-oriented Sales and Design Consultant to join our kitchen remodeling team. This role involves managing and growing a sales pipeline by engaging new leads, conducting in-home consultations, preparing customized proposals, guiding clients through design selections, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the remodeling process—from first contact to post-installation.


Key Responsibilities

Lead Management & Sales Development

  • Promptly respond to and follow up with all inbound inquiries
  • Proactively generate new leads through networking, referrals, social media, home shows, and community outreach
  • Qualify prospective clients and schedule in-home consultations
  • Maintain up-to-date records of lead activity and communication in CRM software
Client Consultations & Design

  • Conduct in-home consultations to assess client goals, style preferences, and space requirements
  • Provide expert guidance on kitchen design, layout, and product selections
  • Assist clients with selecting cabinets, countertops, backsplashes, hardware, and finish details
  • Ensure all design solutions align with the client’s aesthetic vision, functional needs, and budget
Proposal Development & Sales Closing

  • Create detailed, accurate proposals, estimates, and visual presentations
  • Clearly communicate the scope of work, project timelines, pricing, and financing options
  • Address client questions and concerns with professionalism and clarity
  • Close sales and secure signed contracts
Post-Sale Support

  • Maintain communication with clients during installation to ensure satisfaction
  • Conduct post-project follow-ups to confirm that expectations were met or exceeded
  • Request referrals, testimonials, and online reviews

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales, interior design, or home remodeling (kitchen and bath preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills
  • A keen design sense with an eye for color coordination, spatial planning, and functionality
  • Comfortable using CRM and design/estimating software (2020, ProKitchen, or similar is a plus)
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple clients independently
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
Compensation: $150,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
